I’m Allen R Hartman. Now retired, I used to work as a professional photographer, specializing in landscape and wildlife photography with America’s national parks being among my favorite photographic subjects.

 

I’ve been a nature lover since I was a young lad and always relished every opportunity to go to the great outdoors, either by going deep into Central Park or the Bronx Zoo or planning an out-of-town hiking trip.  I also used to be a mountaineer in my younger days, though admittedly I now take the more leisurely route lest my lumbago acts up.

 

Brooklyn born and bred, I reside with my wife Teri next to my son Anthony’s apartment.
